We've featured the Liverpool based producer SPD on Night Tracks before, and he's just dropped a new release on Haunted Audio Recordings, the Gigsaw EP.
As listener's tastes diversify and expand, it's only natural that producer's tastes do too. This EP spans from the broken-but-deep house of opener Gigsaw to the overtly menacing techy DnB of Moving and finishes on the moving garage track Traverse which you can check out below:
SPD has a talent at picking out vocal snippets that are radically different but compliment each other so well, and work more as part of the instrumental than any real vocal track, lending a subtle touch to finish the track.
